General Elite Esports Rules (as of 2/1/19)
It is the responsibility of all players in the tournament to know and understand all Elite Esports rules, as well as the official game rules for the specific game.
To ensure fair competition, EE may, from time-to-time, amend all match-related rules on a case by case basis.
Any teams who manipulate any of EE rules at the expense of other players/teams will be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct, regardless of intent.
Code of Conduct: Player(s) will receive a suspension or ban depending on the seriousness of the offense.
Elite Esports believes our community should be truly open for everyone. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming gameplay environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion. Elite Esports has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, and abuse, of EE staff or other players. This code of conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior as well as the consequences for unacceptable behavior.
Be considerate, respectful, and collaborative.
Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.
Unacceptable behaviors include: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct by any participant of Elite Esports.
Harassment includes: offensive or abusive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability; inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images; deliberate intimidation, stalking or following; harassing photography or recording; sexually explicit or offensive language, or content, that contains profanity, obscene gestures, or racial, religious, gender or ethnic slurs; sustained disruption of others; inappropriate and unwelcome sexual attention.
Gentlemen's Agreements: Since all teams have agreed to the rules, Elite Esports is not responsible for enforcing them.
Equipment: Anyone proven to use any unauthorized equipment will receive a ban until further notice.
Players may not use any controller that may give an unfair advantage such as Turbo (Action when one button is pressed and that same button continues to press with one action) and button macro controllers (one button press that does an action that requires multiple button presses).
If within the first 30 seconds or before the first kill of the round/game, you may leave and request a new host.
If mid game of a non round based game mode you must play out the map and then submit proof of the lag to an admin. The admin shall decide on whether a replay is in order.
If mid game of a round, you must play out the round. After the round has ended you must back out and request a host change.
Proof must show every affective round(s)/map in video format. Multiple points of view are recommend to show it was the host causing the lag issue.
Teams must be ready at the scheduled start time, after 15 minutes they forfeit. Teams may choose to play a man down if they are missing a player.
For every round after the first, the 15 minute start time will start when both teams have been advanced in the bracket.
If a player/host disconnects at the start of the game, the game will be restarted. The start of the game is the first 30 seconds or before the first kill of the game (in the case of COD).
Players who intentionally leave the game during a round will forfeit.
